How to Join

It's a common misnomer that one must be invited to join the Freemasons. In truth it's just the opposite. We want members who have come to us of their own volition. One must be actively seeking answers in order to ask questions. Thus we are actually forbidden from asking people to join. Instead it is you who must knock on the door.

But how do you know if you want to join? We recommend that you come to visit us on one of our open nights. The 2nd, 4th, and 5th Thursdays, if not a holiday, are what we call Fellowship nights where anyone is welcome to stop by and visit. It's a good chance to get to know the members of the lodge and for us to get to know you.

If you like what you see, you can ask for a petition. Two members of the lodge will need to sign it, recommending you for membership (another good reason to get to know some people first). Then your journey and quest for Masonic light will begin. Not everyone will complete that journey. For one thing one must be a male, over 18, have a belief in some sort of deity, and be a person of good reputation to be accepted.
